Minutes West Norwalk Association Board of Directors Meeting
July 7, 2008

Directors in attendance: Peggy Yff, Ron Paladino, Joel Zaremby, Regina Krummel, William Van Deventer, Bob Wagman

Meeting called to order at 7:35PM at Meeting House.
Minutes accepted from June.

Agenda

Discussion of Chris Duff letter: re: poor painting of yellow lines on roads in West Norwalk. Peggy will send letter recommending he contact Public Works.

Candide offered to maintain large spot on Fox Run. They will get ads in newsletters and web site. They will drop off disc to Ron who will forward to Skip for ad placement.
Peggy and Gay to meet to decide how to use gift cards for plants on both sites.

Bob Wagman reported on lack of progress on 5 Mile River situation. Waiting for input from Chris Shays as to possible next steps. Governor Rell rejected any funds for project. New Canaan allocated $150,000 for study. Norwalk has committed nothing. State report indicated that storm water runoff was a contributor to the river problems. City has not sent out forms to residents as they promised.

Waiting for DPW clean up of West Norwalk road and West Cedar on private property contributing to flooding. Hope to get Boy Scouts to help out.

Larry Cafaro to present to Ferndale residents how Dolce will address residents concerns. Meeting was set for Thursday July 10 at 6:30 at Dolce.

Bob and Peggy will try to locate Skip as he is necessary for website maintenance.
