Dues letter still to be sent out. Members who can will meet at the Meeting House from 9:30 on Saturday March 15 to fold letters and prepare for mailing.

Bob Wagman discussed the status of the flooding issues. Bob said things were moving along fast. Approval for the Watershed study which will cost about $200,000 and cover the 5 mile river in Darien and Rowayton as well as Norwalk is one approval away per Larry Cafaro. Mayor Moccia has called a meeting of 5 mile river residents who wish to make repairs to the river banks now. He would expedite permits. Next step is hiring firm to do the study. WNA will be involved to insure repairs done correctly. Will also recommend they look at 1990 study as well.

Charles and Bob recommended a river clean up. Bob will contact the city for assistance and procedures.

William was unable to attend the CNNA meeting but will attend the next one. Bob said that the CNNA are looking at surveys distributed at primary day to see priority of issues concerning Norwalk residents.

Gay Mac Leod reported on the tree alliance. New trees to be planted throughout Norwalk.  Tree festival in spring. Arbor Day celebration.

The meeting house is looking to have a movie night to raise funds. They will also contribute to the newsletter mailing and share editorial space with us.  Expect to issue in late April.

We will have a bulbs planting on our welcome to Norwalk sites on May 3.
