Minutes West Norwalk Association Board of Directors Meeting
July 10, 2006
Directors in attendance: Joe Sette, David Frishkorn, Peggy Yff and Jim Forcellina
Call to order – 7:46
Minutes of June meeting – approved
Treasurer’s report - $2042.72 Balance – approved
Copies of the new logo were presented – Peg will distribute to all board members to vote on line.
Adopt a Spot – Joe will lay out the plantings’ location for a projected September planting.
SOME DATES TO NOTE: August 7 – Board meeting. This meeting will deal with finalizing the mailing and the newsletter to go out in late August. Board members should suggest some items, and perhaps write them and submit to Peggy ASAP. At this meeting, a nominating committee will be appointed to present a slate at the annual meeting in September. Board members should come prepared to: 1) make suggestions for new Board members, 2) volunteer to serve on the various Association committees, 3) make known any intentions to be considered for one or more of the Board officers. Regardless of those hazy, lazy, crazy days of summer, it would be appreciated if ALL Board members could be in attendance on August 7th.
September 17 – tentative date of the Annual meeting at a place TBD
Reminder that Peg needs an updated list of West Norwalk residents, especially those on Fillow, for the August mailing. Perhaps someone with real estate connections could help her with this item.
